사회복지사의 소진과 우울, 자살사고, 불안, ADHD, 자존감, 충동성, 삶의 질

사회복지사는 정서적 소진 현상이 심각한 것으로 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 사회복지사 153명과 대조군 454명을 대상으로 주의력 결핍 과잉행동 장애, 우울, 자살사고, 불안, 소진, 자존감, 충동성, 삶의질의 차이를 평가하였다. 대상자들은 성인 ADHD 척도, 벡 우울 척도, 자살사고 척도, 벡 불안 척도, 말라크 소진척도, 로젠버그 자존감 척도, 삶의 질 척도를 수행하였다. 그 결과로서 사회복지사군은 모든평가척도에서 대조군과 유의한 차이를 보였으며 회귀분석에서는 ADHD, 우울, 자존감이 소진에 영향을미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사회복지사의 소진은 우울 등의 정서적 위험요인 외에도 ADHD, 자존감 등의행동·성격요인이 영향을 줄 수 있으므로 이에 대한 중재적 노력이 필요할 것이다. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate relationships between attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) symptoms, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, impulsiveness, burnout, self-esteem and quality of life and social sorkers group in Korea. Methods: A set of questionnaires were provided to a total of 153 social workers and 454 other participants as a comparison group. All subjects were evaluated using the Korean Adult Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Scales, the Beck’s Depression Inventory, Beck's Scale of Suicide Ideation, Beck’s Anxiety Inventory, Baratt’ Impulsiveness Scale, Maslach Burnout Inventory, Rosenberg‘ s Self-esteem Inventory, Quality of Life Scale. Results: The participants who belonged to the social workers group were more likely to demonstrate the symptoms of ADHD and higher levels of depression, suicide idea, anxiety, impulsiveness, burnout and lower levels of self-esteem, quality of life. Further, the results of logistic regression analysis confirmed the association between the social workers group and ADHD symptoms, depression, self-esteem. Conclusions: Timely and effective evaluation and treatment of ADHD, self-esteem, as well as depression was required for social workers. KCI Citation Count: 4
