COVID-19 시대의 SW 교육에 관한 고찰-컴퓨팅 사고력과 ICT을 중심으로

최근 전 세계적으로 관심이 높아지고 있는 빅데이터, 인공지능, IoT 기술은 교육산업에 새로운 변화를 예고하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 비대면 방식의 SW 교육에 대해서 고찰하고, 기존의 대면 강의에서 사용했던 컴퓨팅 사고력 교육 모델을 빅데이터, 인공지능, IoT 요소를 포함한 온라인 방식의 교육 모델로 새롭게 구성하여 C 대학교 신입생 80명을 대상으로 교육했다. 교육 전·후로 설문을 통해 학습자의 인식 변화를 관찰했으며, ICT 기술 중심의 컴퓨팅 사고력 온라인 교육이 학습자의 ICT 기술에 대한 흥미를 유발하며, ICT 융합 전공 선택에 영향을 준다는 결론을 도출하였다. 또한, 학습자의 자유 의견을 수렴하여 컴퓨팅 사고력 온라인 교육의 장·단점을 정리했으며, 이를 바탕으로 언택트 시대에 컴퓨팅 사고력 교육이 추구해야 할 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. As we find ourselves dependent on an increasingly digital world—whether that's in contactless payments, telemedicine, or online learning—we're seeing increased opportunity in not only the adoption of ICT (big data, AI, IoT), but also how we prepare for it in the education space. That's why in this research, we examine different education models for SW and computational thinking to create an interdisciplinary curriculum for big data, AI, and IoT, including a case study of a class of 80 freshmen at "C" University. By surveying the students before, during, and after the course, we measured how perceptions of ICT evolved throughout the semester. Overall, the ICT-focused online course left students with a greater interest in ICT and encouraged some students to pursue an ICT major. In the free-response section of the survey, many of the students also shared that the course helped them realize the growing importance of computational thinking for the future of work regardless of their major.
