Summary:Magnoliae Flos, Xanthii Fructus and Menthae Herba have long been used for treatment of nasal disease in Korea. The 70%-ethanol extracts of Magnoliae Flos, Xanthii Fructus and Menthae Herba were used externally in order to investigate the effects on a few strains of microbe, nasal alergy and inflammation, rhinitis and sinusitis. When the proportion of Magnoliae Flos : Xanthii Fructus : Menthae Herba was 2 : 2 : 1, the results showed great significance compared to the control group(non-extracts) in treatment of various nasal disorder.
