초등학교 수학과 조작교구 활용실태 및 활성화 방안에 대한 조사 연구

추상적인 개념을 이해하기에 앞서 구체적인 조작교구의 활용은 학생 자신의 구체적 환경과 수학의 추상적 수준 사이의 틈새를 연결하는 중요한 역할을 한다. 이에 최근 수학과 수업에서는 조작교구를 활용한 의미 있는 학습을 강조하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 학교 현장에서 수학 조작 교구의 활용 실태와 효과를 알아보기 위하여 170명의 교사를 설문 조사하고 조작 교구의 활성화하기 위한 방안을 정리하였다. 또한 더 자세히 알아보기 위하여 교육경력이 다양한 교사 8명을 선정하여 면담하였다. 이를 통하여 초등학교 수학 수업에서 교사들의 조작교구에 대한 인식과 활용방안에 대해 모색해 보았다. Many scholars assert that the first step in mathematics of guiding this abstraction, is from what is specific through the manipulative activity. Prior to understanding an abstract concept, the specific use of manipulative material plays an important role in linking a gap between the specific environment in a student oneself and the abstract level. Accordingly, in the recent teaching of mathematics is being emphasized the significant learning that use the manipulative material. Accordingly, this study is aimed to set up a plan that will activate the manipulative material after examining the realities and an effect in the use of manipulative material in a elementary mathematics teaching.
