미래사회 대비 체육교과의 교육방향 탐색

본 연구는 미래사회의 학교교육 변화 추세에 비춰 미래사회 대비 체육교과의 교육 방향을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 미래 사회의 변화에 따른 체육교육의 목표, 내용, 방법, 환경의 변화 관련 문헌연구 및 델파이 조사와 전문가 협의회를 거쳐 핵심주제를 도출하여, 체육교육의 교육 방향을 제시하였다. 연구결과 건강하고 활기찬 삶과 더불어 삶의 두 가지 차원을 고려하여 1) 신체적 소양 함양, 2) 건강한 생활습관 및 활기찬 삶의 기술 습득, 3) 평생 스포츠 참여를 위한 능력 배양, 4) 감성과 인성 함양, 5) 문화적 다양성을 수용하는 통합적 교육, 6) 테크놀로지의 올바른 활용이 미래사회 체육교과의 주요 교육 방향으로 도출되었다. 미래사회에 국민 건강과 여가, 활동적인 삶의 중요성이 높아지면서 체육교과의 역할은 더욱더 중요해질 것이다. 따라서 학생이 체육을 평생 사랑하고 즐기며, 전인적 성장을 이루기 위해서는 기존의 학교체육의 교육방향과 내용, 방법의 비판적 검토가 시급하다. The purpose of this study is to explore the educational direction of physical education in preparation of the changing trends of school education in the future society. To achieve this aim, the core themes for suggesting the educational direction of physical education were derived from a review of recent literature, a Delphi survey, and expert consultation. The findings showed that in consideration of promoting healthy and active lifestyles, the main educational direction of physical education in consideration should be as follows: 1) to foster physical literacy, 2) to acquire healthy lifestyle habits and lively life skills, 3) to cultivate the ability to participate in lifelong sports, 4) to cultivate emotion and character 5) to deliver integrated education that embraces cultural diversity, and 6) to promote proper use of technology. As the importance of public health, leisure, and active life in future society increases, the role of physical education subjects will become even more important. Therefore, it is imperative to critically examine the direction, contents, and methods of school physical education in order to make students appreciate and enjoy lifelong learning as well as full-time growth.
