상담전공대학원생을 위한 디지털 상담 교과 과정 개발 연구: 동기화 (synchronous) 방식의 상담을 중심으로

본 연구에서는 IT 기술을 적용한 상담 영역이 확장되고 있다는 점을 고려하여, 상담전공 대학생을 위한 디지털 상담 교과 과정을 개발하였다. 본 교과 과정은 Tyler(1949) 모델의 5단계 과정을 통해 개발되었다. 1단계에서는 상담심리전문가와 상담전공 대학원생을 대상으로 설문조사와 인터뷰를 실시하여 요구 분석을 시행하였다. 2단계에서는 디지털 상담 교육에 대한 문헌을 분석하여 디지털 상담 교과 개발의 근거를 마련하였다. 3단계에서는 미국심리학회 인증 상담심리 및 임상-상담 심리 통합 프로그램에서 디지털 상담 교육이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지 살펴보았다. 4단계에서는 이전 단계의 결과를 통합하여 디지털 상담 교과 과정을 개발하였고, 5단계에서는 전문가들의 피드백을 반영하여 교과 과정을 완성하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 디지털 상담 교과 과정은 디지털 상담 유능성(전문적인 대인관계 기술, 심리검사와 내담자 평가 기술, 개입과 자문, 연구, 윤리 및 전문가 행동 규정)을 향상시키는데 그 목표가 있으며, 주별로 디지털 상담의 유형 및 장단점과 디지털 상담에 대한 태도, 문자 및 SNS 상담, 전화 및 화상상담, 모바일 앱 기반 심리서비스, VR 기반 및 메타버스 플랫폼 상담, AI와 상담, 디지털 치료제 등을 다루도록 구성되었다. We developed a graduate-level digital counseling course curriculum using Tyler model (1949). First, we conducted a needs assessment with professional counselors and graduate students. Second, we analyzed digital counseling courses in counseling psychology programs accredited by the American Psychological Association. Third, we integrated the results of stage 1 and 2 using interpretive content analysis. The main purpose of this course is to improve students’ digital counseling competencies (i. e., professional interpersonal skills, psychological testing and client evaluation skills, intervention and consultation, research, and ethics and professional conduct). Subtopics included advantages and disadvantages, attitudes toward digital counseling, text and SNS counseling, telephone and video-conferencing counseling, mobile app-based psychological services, VR-based and metaverse platform counseling, AI counseling, and digital therapeutics.
