축구선수의 경기력 평가에서 나타나는 자기착각

이 연구는 경기력 평가에서 나타나는 자기착각을 확인하기 위해 초등선수, 중학선수, 직업 선수를 대상으로 경기력 자기지각과 타인지각을 살펴보았다. 축구 경기력 주제로 한 선행연구를 토대로 축구 경기력 평가 질문지를 제작하여 1,227명의 축구선수를 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며, 축구 경기력 지각 경향성 검토를 위해 기술통계를, 경기력의 자기평가와 타인평가 차이 확인을 위해 독립표본 t－검정을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 축구선수는 자신의 경기력을 다른 선수와 비교했을 때 기술, 매개기술, 축구지능 요인에서는 자기겸양 편향을 보인 반면, 심리 요인에서는 자기고양 편향을 보인다. 구체적으로 초등선수, 중학선수, 고교선수는 기술, 매개기술, 축구지능 요인에서 자기겸양 편향, 심리 요인에서 자기고양 편향이 나타난데 비해, 대학선수는 심리 요인에서만 자기고양 편향이 나타나고, 기술, 매개기술, 축구지능 요인에서는 편향이 나타나지 않았다. 또한 직업선수는 기술과 매개기술 요인에서는 자기겸양 편향이, 심리 요인에서는 자기고양 편향이 나타난 반면, 축구지능 요인에서만 편향이 나타나지 않았다. 축구선수의 경기력 지각에서 나타나는 자기겸양 편향은 타인과의 조화를 중요시하는 스포츠 팀 분위기의 영향으로 겸손 전략이 작용했을 가능성으로 판단되며, 자기고양 편향은 비교적 객관적 관찰이 불가능한 영 역에서 자신의 능력과 가치감을 증진시키기 위한 자기고양 전략의 가능성으로 판단된다. 연구에서 심리적 흐름이나 보편적 경향성을 확인하기 위해 시간의 흐름을 반영할 수 있는 방안을 적극적으로 모색할 필요가 있다. This study was to examine self illusion of football players in performance assessment. In order to achieve the purpose, 1,227 football players (elementary, middle, high-school, university, professional players) responded to questionnaires. The questionnaire consists of self-assessment and others were analyzed. The results were as follows: First, in assessment aspects of performance, skill, mediative skill, and football intelligence factors showed self-abasement bias. However, in assessment aspects of performance psychology illustrated self-enhancement bias. Specifically, elementary, middle, high-school football players showed self-abasement bias in skill, mediative skill, and football intelligence factors and showed self-enhancement bias in psychology factor. Although university football players showed self-enhancement bias in psychology factor, there is no significant in skill, mediative skilL and football intelligence factors. In addition, professional football players showed self-abasement bias in skill and mediative skill factor, self-enhancement bias in psychology factor. However, there is no significant in football intelligence factors. In conclusion, football player illustrated self-abasement bias in skill, mediative skill, and football intelligence factors and showed self-enhancement bias in psychology factor. In considering these results, sport psychology researches need to explore the ways reflecting time passage which can confirm psychological flow and the universal tendency.
