肺血栓塞栓症および深部静脈血栓症は, 特に手術後や出産後, あるいは急性内科疾患での入院中などに多く発症し不幸な転帰をとることが多い. 欧米では非常に頻度の高い疾患であり, 古くからその予防に力が注がれてきた. 近年, 本症はわが国においても決して少なくない疾患と認識され, 欧米との発生率の差などを考慮したわが国独自の予防ガイドラインが完成した. 本ガイドラインは, エビデンスの少ないなかで作成された発展途上なものであり, 今後の研究発展が期待される....
