Photodissociation Dynamics of CF2I2 in CCl4 Solution Probed by Femtosecond Infrared Spectroscopy
Dynamics of photodissociation of CF2I2 in solution after excitation at 350 nm. One I atom is immediately dissociated and all the dissociated I geminately rebinds to form reactant or isomer that rapidly releases I2 molecule producing CF2, which bimolecularly reacts to produce C2F4.
