Abstract 本稿は,日本口腔内科学会OLP委員会内の第二期口腔扁平苔癬ワーキンググループが,公開されている論文(国際誌,国内誌)を基に,口腔扁平苔癬に対して,現在行われている治療方法をレビューし,タスクフォースコンセンサスとして,その治療方法と効果判定の方法を記述的総説としてまとめた。今後,本邦で臨床治験などを行う上で,臨床・病理学的効果を評価する指標となれば幸いである。口腔扁平苔癬は,病態としてあるいは自覚・他覚症状として,急性(acute phase)か慢性(chronic phase)か,慢性であれば,慢性活動性(chronic active phase)か慢性非活動性(chronic nonactive phase)かを判断する必要がある。したがって,治療のゴールを,癌化の阻止を念頭に置きながら,完全治癒を目指すのか,慢性非活動性の維持を目指すのか,を明確にしながら,種々の治療方法を選択,開発していかなければならないと考えられる。
