高齢者における喉頭垂直部分切除術の長期予後

高齢者に対する喉頭垂直部分切除術の長期経過の報告はこれまでない。1992年1月‐2007年12月にかけて喉頭垂直部分切除術を施行した70歳以上の症例20例を対象とし術後5年/10年の生存率，喉頭機能温存生存率をカルテおよび電話調査で追跡可能な範囲で遡及的に調べた。年齢中央値73歳，経過観察期間中央値87か月であった。全生存率5年/10年が73/55％，喉頭機能温存生存率5年/10年で69/44％であった。術後5年以降の死因に原病死はなかった。また，術後に喉頭機能低下が原因となり会話不能，経口摂取不能，誤嚥性肺炎での入院，喉頭摘出，気管切開が必要となった症例はなかった。...
