Abstract 口腔内空気の分析により歯周組織の状態と歯周ポケット内歯周病原性細菌レベルの予測が可能か検討した。 被験者 30 名の口腔内空気または揮発性硫黄化合物(VSC)濃度を電子嗅覚装置(electronic nose),ガスクロマトグラフィー(GC)および官能試験で分析した。また,歯周病の臨床パラメーターを測定し,刺激唾液中,舌苔および,歯肉縁下プラーク中の歯周病原性細菌数(P. gingivalis, A. actinomycetemcomitans, T. forsythia, P. intermedia, T. denticola)をリアルタイム PCR で算定した。その結果, 1.口腔内の最深 PD 値は官能試験値,Electronic nose total mode および CH3SH/H2S 比と有意な正の相関を示した。 2.Electronic nose total mode と CH3SH/H2S 比の 2 種の測定値と歯肉縁下プラーク中の 5 種の歯周病原性細菌総数との間に有意な相関が認められた(調整済み R2=0.690,p<0.027)。また,歯肉縁下プラーク中の 5 種の歯周病原性細菌総数の予測値と実測値においても有意な正の相関が認められた(R2=0.447,p<0.001)。 以上から,口腔内空気の分析測定により歯周組織の状態や歯肉縁下プラーク中の歯周病原性細菌レベルを判定できる可能性が示唆された。 日本歯周病学会会誌(日歯周誌)56(4):379-389,2014
