In control group, pharmacological denervation disclosed the same hemodynamic changes as shown in pacemaker syndrome. VVI pacing症例のうち, ペースメーカー症候群を呈する愁訴群3例と, 対照群4例に対して, 臥位から起坐位へと体位変換した前後の心房拍数, 体血圧, 右房圧, %FS (UCG下), 血中カテコラミン値の変化を測定した。又, 臥位でValsalva試験を行ない, 前後の心房拍数, 体血圧の変化を測定した。さらにAtropine. Prepranolol投与による薬理学的除神経下で, 同様に体位変換前後の変化を測定した。その結果, 愁訴群では, 全身性血管収縮反射の機能不全と, 圧受容器baroreceptorを介する負荷減圧反射の障害により, 末梢血管の拡張状態と低心拍出量の状態が長く続く, 起立性低血圧に類似した血行動態を示した。除神経により, 対照群の血行動態が愁訴群に近くなることより, 愁訴群における心拍数一定下の自律神経調節不全が推察された。
