Abstract Wind power farms are mainly situated in area, where there are very good wind conditions. On the other hand there are operators of transmission and distribution systems. The interests of both sides are very often divergent, because the best place of connection in point of view of investors need not be the best place in point of view of system operators. The main aim of paper is presentation of the problems related to the choice of the best place for connection of wind power farms to electric power system.
