Summary:This paper focuses on the use of an algorithm based on the CLEAN technique to extract moving targets with ISAR processing. This algorithm, called AUTOCLEAN, was improved, to stop the iterative process, by adding a criterion. It is used to estimate the range migration of a target such as an airplane. Then, this estimate is applied to the raw data to compensate for the displacement. Subsequently, 2D FFT is applied to the compensated data to form an image. We transposed AUTOCLEAN at the output of an array antenna receiver with coherent processing. Criteria were defined to efficiently compare the images produced by the tests. Finally, typical results are presented.
