Abstract Under the background of big data, traditional aesthetic design thinking is an important professional basic course in current art design teaching. Modern art design is a thinking training for cultivating college students to be designers in the future. It is an experience of laws and national folk culture, and it is the future design benchmark that leads contemporary innovative life, aesthetic taste and material spirit. Starting from the connotation and practical significance of traditional aesthetics, this paper analyzes the influence of traditional aesthetics on modern art design, and discusses data modeling algorithms.
