| Summary: | In the era of ICT, the current signature of Induction Machines represents the healthy condition of the machine during its running. Sending the data related to different parameters, particularly voltage and current signals via communication channel to remote location and their signature analysis are the subject of extensive research. In order to establish a reliable communication, the channel capacity and data security also have become very important issues. To increase the channel capacity instead of real time raw data transmission, a Hybrid Coding technique is adopted. The Induction Machine is modeled under healthy condition and different faulty conditions. For these different types of data a hybrid data compression technique consisting of DPCM and Huffman coding has been applied. In different case studies, a considerable amount of the data compression ratio is achieved and data security is also enhanced to a great extent. |
