A New Low Voltage and Low Power Filter Using DTMOS-CCII

In this paper, a new CMOS configuration of ultra low voltage, ultra low power dynamic threshold MOS transistor (DTMOS) based second generation current conveyor (CCII) has been explored. The circuit consists of only eight transistors, each of which is operating in sub threshold region. The proposed c...

Summary:In this paper, a new CMOS configuration of ultra low voltage, ultra low power dynamic threshold MOS transistor (DTMOS) based second generation current conveyor (CCII) has been explored. The circuit consists of only eight transistors, each of which is operating in sub threshold region. The proposed circuit is operating at ± 0.2 V power supply and consumes only 1.77μW power. In addition, band pass and band reject filters have been implemented using DTMOS based CCII design. To verify the proposed circuit, PSPICE simulations were carried out using 0.18μm technology.
