Summary:With the development of economy and technology, the issue of power quality (PQ) is attracting increasing attention. However, the indices and results obtained by the existing PQ assessment methods are not intuitive, and it is difficult for non-professionals like social investors and power users to understand the impact of PQ on themselves. In this paper, a PQ assessment index system for social investors, power grids, and power users is proposed. The professional PQ indices are converted into easily understandable indices for public, such as economic index. What's more, case studies are given to make the indices more intuitive.
