| Summary: | This paper aims to present, analyze and compare the results obtained by simulating a beamforming method designed for the case of coherent signals that arrive at a linear antenna array. The signals are detected using the Smooth Music algorithm. The influence of several parameters, such as the signal-to-noise ratio or antenna array size, is studied. The purpose of the designed algorithm is to cancel the effect of any coherent interference from the signal of interest, by means of spatial filtering. The algorithm was designed to be implemented on a system formed of several USRP platforms, and so it was analyzed in both Matlab and afterwards Python. |
