Summary:This study is a bibliometric review of the blockchain in the banking sector. The use of blockchain in banking has been growing for the past few years. Scopus database was used for the study. Scopus database had 69 research papers relevant to the study out of which, 54 papers relevant to study were examined using VOS viewer. The time period of study was 2017 to 2022. Three major research themes emerged out of bibliographic coupling: compatibility, feasibility and risk management which influence blockchain technology in banking.
