니체의 주인도덕에 기반한 인성교육 모형개발

한국은 2015년 인성교육진흥법을 특별히 제정할 만큼, 인성교육은 지금 우리에게 화두이다. 인성교육의 목적은 인간적인, 인간다운 성품의 소유자가 되어 “인간답게” 살아 갈 수 있는 인간을 육성하는 것이다. 인간답게 산다는 말은 구속과 억압에서 벗어나 자기 자신이 삶의 주체가 되어 자유의지를 실현하면서 살아간다는 의미이다. 그것은 “노예가 아니라 삶의 주인으로 산다”는 말이다. 한국은 경제 강국으로 발전했으나 한국인은 점점 더 가난해지고 있다. 한국인은 권력을 원하며 그 무엇보다도 먼저 권력의 지렛대인 더 많은 돈을 원하기 때문이다. 한국이 정치적으로 해방되었지만, 한국인은 자유를 향유하지 못하고 돈을 새로운 주인으로 섬기게 되었다. 역사적으로 볼 때 한국인은 너무 오랫동안 사대주의 사상에 매여 주인의식을 함양할 시간적 여유도 없었다. 한국인에게 주인의식이 결여되어 있다. 따라서 인성교육은 주인의식을 함양하는데 주안점을 두어야 한다. 주인의식을 함양하는 방안은 두 가지이다. 우선 자기 자신이 가치의 척도가 되어 주위 사물에 가치를 부여하는 습관을 들여야 한다. 그 다음 삶의 고통을 긍정하고 그것을 삶의 필연적 계기로 삼는 훈련을 쌓아야 한다. 인간은 고통을 극복하면서 자신의 역량이 확장되어 갈 때 진정한 행복을 느끼기 때문이다. 삶의 궁극적 목적이 행복이라면, 교육의 최종 목적도 행복이 되어야 한다. Personality education is now issue for us as Korea specially enacts the Humanity Education Promotion Act in 2015. The aim of humanity education is to nurture human beings who can become owner of human character and live “humanly”. Living humanly is meaning to try to live as the subject of life itself, realizing free-will, getting out of restraint and oppression. It is “not slave but living as the master of life”. Korea has developed into an economic country but Koreans are getting poorer. Because Koreans want power and first the lever of power, much money. Koreans could not enjoy freedom and made money a new owner though Korea was politically liberated. Koreans have not been able to afford time good enough to cultivate their masters’ consciousness historically because we were in the idea of toadyism for a considerable long time. The sense of mastership lacks to Korean. Therefore humanity education should focus on cultivating the sense of mastership. There are two ways of cultivating the sense of mastership. First, I must have a habit of giving value to things around me, making myself a measure of value. Then I have to build up a training to affirm the pain of life and make it the inevitable moment of life. Because man overcomes suffering and feels genuine happiness as his power expands. If the ultimate goal of life is happiness, the ultimate goal of education should be happiness. KCI Citation Count: 1
