ProQuest is the main full-text database of foreign periodicals in agricultural and forestry universities.Taking Shenyang Agricultural University as an example,this paper analyzed the usage of PAJ and PBJ and compared the utilization cost of relevant agricultural full-text databases of foreign periodicals.Based on the statistics of SCI papers in this university,it discussed the information support capability of ProQuest database from the perspective of SCI papers＇ discipline and periodical distribution,expecting to provide reference for the allocation of agriculturalbiological digital resource in agricultural and forestry universities.
