This research explored the distribution property of the mineral elements in Castanea mollissima Yanshanzaofeng in different types of shoots during the staminate flowering and young fruit stage. The results showed that distribution of mineral elements content specificity in different types of shoots. The content of N, K, Mn and Cu was the highest in leaves of fruit-bearing shoot, 1.60%, 0.57%, 776.66 mg · kg^-1, 10.45 mg ·kg^-1, respectively; the content of P was 0.14% in staminate shoot and the content of Ca, Mg and B was the highest in vegetative shoot 1.17%, 0.29%, 102.37 mg~ kg1, respectively during flowering period. The content of P, Ca, Fe, Mn was the highest in leaves of fruit-bearing shoot, the content of N, Mg and B was the highest in leaves of vegetat
