埃洛石与绢云母协同增强丁苯橡胶

将用硅烷偶联剂改性的管状埃洛石和片状绢云母及其混合物分别填充于丁苯橡胶中,研究了不同形态矿物对橡胶物理机械性能的影响。结果表明,埃洛石有助于橡胶拉伸性能的改善,绢云母对橡胶撕裂强度和定伸应力的增强效果明显;在埃洛石与绢云母复配质量比为7/3、填充质量80份时,改性共混填料的协同增强效果明显,所填充丁苯橡胶的拉伸强度、300%定伸应力、扯断伸长率和撕裂强度分别达到11.38 MPa、4.32 MPa、847%和34.55 kN/m。傅里叶变换红外光谱和电子显微镜的分析表明,改性剂吸附在了矿物表面,其可增强矿粉与橡胶基质之间的相容性;管状埃洛石穿插在绢云母片层间,堆砌致密,两种不同形态矿物各自的增...

Abstract_FL The styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) was filled respectively with tubular halloysite, flaky sericite and their mixture which were modified with silane coupling agent, and the effects of different forms of minerals on the mechanical properties of rubber were investigated.The results showed that halloysite was helpful to improvement the tensile strength, sericite could improved the tear strength and stretching stress of vulcanizates.Under the conditions of filling amount of 80 phr and the mass ratio of halloysite/sericite at 7/3, the reinforcement effect caused by mixed fillers was complement and mechanical properties of composite increased significantly, the tensile strength , modulus at 300%, elongation at break and tear strength reached 11.38 MPa, 4.32 MPa, 847%, 34.55 kN/m respectively.The results analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscope indicated that the modifier adsorbed on the surface of the mineral, which enhanced the compatibi-lity between the mineral powder and the rubber matrix;the tubular halloysite interspersed between the sericite layers and the two minerals packing densely, two different forms of minerals could enhance their own advantages each other, and could synergistic reinforce SBR.
