高等农业院校外语教学的跨学科发展方向

Now the college English teaching is facing many problems, the interdisciplinary development of which is the need of social development and the direction of college English reform. Based on the analysis of the present situation and problems of foreign language teaching in agricultural colleges and universities, several approaches are suggested as follows： putting stress on ESP course; readjusling course designing; reforming teaching content and method; strengthening teachers＇ training; with the purpose of training student to do research or work in their special field in English, which can basically enhance the international competitive ability of agricultural talents.
