The ecological adaptation of eight species of A cer in Beijing from heat-resistance, the ability to resist pests and diseases and drought-resistance have been studied and evaluated in this paper. This will provide scientific basis for growing and application of these species of A cer. The results indicated that, A. truncatum 'Lihong', A. truncatum 'Yanhong' had the best ecological adaptability in Beijing, the adaptability of Acer platanoides, A. negundo were poor, A. rubrum, A. saccharinum, A. ginnala and A. griseum were in medium.
