This paper elaborates on the mechanism and influence of islanding effect,introducing the present research situation of islanding detection,and islanding detection methods mainly for single phase invert are classified. The testing principles of active, passive and hybrid methods are analysied,comparing their advantages and disadvantages,and illustrate that the hybrid method can meet the test requirements better.
