The contents of 8 heavy metals(As、Cd、Cr、Cu、Hg 、Ni、Pb、Zn) in soil and in the root of Solanum torvum growing in different distribution areas were detected according to the provisions of the relevant national standards.The differences in heavy metals distribution and the accumulation indices in different areas were examined with nonparametric tests.The results showed there were significant differences in the heavy metals in soil and plants from different areas.The accumulation indices of heavy metals by Solanum torvum were found significant difference in the distribution areas.And the accumulation indices of different heavy metals by the plant were different,and Cu was found rich in Solanum torvum.
