一种抑制高压加速管电子负载效应的新方法

电子负载效应在高压加速管中是需要避免的,因为电子负载效应往往会造成加速管中出现大量的电子流,使得高压难以继续升高,而电子负载效应与加速管中的杂散粒子倍增有关。本文介绍了如何利用透镜电场抑制电子负载效应。通过不等梯度电位形成透镜电场,透镜电场对中心轴上加速的粒子不造成影响,而对远离主轴的杂散粒子起到消散的作用,可以有效地阻止这些杂散粒子长距离飞越,减弱杂散粒子的倍增能力。可见透镜电场能够对电子负载效应起到抑制的作用。...

Background: In the high voltage accelerating tube, the electronic load effect tends to cause a large amount of electrons flow in the tube, making it difficult to continuously increase the voltage, and thus needs to be avoided. Electronic load effect is related to the multiplication of the stray particles in the accelerating tube. Purpose: This study aims to propose a method to suppress the electronic load effect. Methods: The lens electric field is adopted to eliminate the spray particles. The formation of the lens electric field is built through the unequal gradient potential. Results: The lens electric field has no effect on the main beam on the central axis, but the stray particles that are far away from the central axis are dissipated.
