| Notes | Background: Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System (EPICS) is the distributed control system software which is commonly used in large-scale experimental physics facilities. Purpose: We wish to apply it into the field of molten salt reactor relevant process control, e.g. HTS 1st test loop of thorium-based molten salt reactor (TMSR), which is characterized by heating, circulation, cooling and other process control. Methods: During the development of EPICS based control system, the Simense S7-300 PLC and Yokogawa FA-M3 PLC hardware drivers specification format transformation has been done, to support the Autosave and devIocState plug, and ASYN serial communication between the DTI-1000 reference digital temperature indicator and the EPICS IOC has been developed with the StreamDevice packages, also EDM interface program was modified to support PV control of the "molten salt flow", "fans", "molten salt pump rotation", etc. by dynamic symbols.
