Therefore, from this vector, a representative parameter of the teaching quality has been defined, namely, the “Teaching Value”, which globally quantifies the teaching of a university subject. Likewise, and in a complementary manner, the overall effectiveness of teaching has been established (ηglobal), which is defined as the geometric mean of the product of the efficiencies of the four Houses of Quality and allows the determination of the current performance of teaching and its margin for potential improvement.
