Summary:This paper was dealt with the characteristics of fine particles in the electric field with corona discharge. The experimental apparatus Was consisted with the needle type electrodes and cylindrical type collecting tower. The generator has rather high voltage up to 120kV, and dusty gas was induced tangentially into the bottom of the tower. The measurements distribution at each vertical section of the tower were carried out to observe the agglomeration phenomena. From these measurements the agglomeration velocity was assumed.
