Summary: | Deng, Q. and Yan, X., 2020. Information sharing mechanism of marine environmental management in China. In: Gong, D.; Zhang, M., and Liu, R. (eds.), Advances in Coastal Research: Engineering, Industry, Economy, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 106, pp. 544–548. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208. The 21st century is the era of information sharing, which is the future trend of development. The marine environment is a kind of public resource and involves the interests of the marine sector and the public. Therefore, we must build the information-sharing mechanism of marine environment management, which will deliver marine environment information timely and accurately. The information-sharing mechanism of marine environmental management involves the interests of multiple social groups, including government departments and marine-related industries. The sharing of marine environmental management information is facing the huge test of the change in the behavior logic of the sharing subject. At present, the information-sharing mechanism of marine environmental management has made some achievements, such as platform construction and database and information system improvement. This paper constructs the information-sharing mechanism of China's marine environmental management, which will affect the formulation and implementation of marine environmental management policies. |
