島根県におけるつつが虫病の病原体調査を臨床検体及び野鼠検体を用いて行った.血清抗体価による感染種推定で患者25名中23名(92%)でOrientia tsutsugamushi 血清型Karpの感染が考えられた.また患者の臨床検体からOrientia tsutsugamushi シークエンス型としてKarp 型のサブタイプであるJapanese Karp type 2(JP-2),Gilliam 型のサブタイプであるJapanese Gilliam(JG)及び韓国で報告のあるOrientia tsutsugamushi Yeo-joo が見出された.Orientia tsutsugamushi...
