Brett Ratner

Ratner in 2012 Brett Ratner (born 28 March 1969) is an American film director and producer. He directed the ''Rush Hour'' film series, ''The Family Man'', ''Red Dragon'', ''X-Men: The Last Stand'', ''Tower Heist'', and ''Hercules''. He is a producer or executive producer of several films, including the ''Horrible Bosses'' series, ''The Revenant'', and ''War Dogs'', and the television series ''Prison Break''.

Ratner directed his first feature film, ''Money Talks'', in 1997. He is the co-founder of RatPac Entertainment, a film production company.

In 2017, numerous women in Hollywood came forward with allegations of rape and sexual assault by Ratner. This resulted in his business deals and prospective film projects getting canceled or scrapped, with Warner Bros. Pictures and talent agencies distancing themselves from him, and Ratner subsequently fleeing to Israel. In December 2024, Ratner returned to filmmaking after being commissioned by the American Presidency, and started production on ''Melania'', co-produced by and starring Melania Trump and released on January 30, 2026 by Amazon MGM Studios.
